I’m trying to watch the cricket
India’s playing the West Indies in the fourth ODI today at the IPCL Ground in Vadodara. Unfortunately, I have a Hathway set-top box. So I don’t get NEO Sports (the rights owners to the telecast) and I’m stuck with good old DD National. Sob.
That’s not the bad part, though. I mean, thanks to the Hathway digital box, the picture quality is so good, that even DD won’t believe it’s DD! But the problem is they seem to miss out on replays. Not always, but sometimes. Now the telecast is seven-minutes delayed and all that, but why are they missing out on the replays?!?
The joy of watching a game on TV is the replays! I can be looking away when Uthapa slammed another bounday, but I know for sure the replay is there. But sometimes it’s not. HELP!
Anyways… the picture quality still has me spellbound. Honest! And I feel patriotic for watching DD. Heh!
